First Floor Second Floor That's right, we've moved the bag check this year! Now, as you're lining up for the dealer room it's conveniently located for your bag checking needs!

Actually, those club promotion areas are for clubs who will be manning individual tables! These include JAAW, UMAnime, WAC and IACON North. Flyers can be left on the advertising drop off tables before registration!
We'd like to expand on having more clubs promote next year, so if know of any other asian culture / anime clubs in the city that would like to staff a table to promote themselves all weekend.. we'd like to hear from them!

Actually the room they had to use last year for overflow was huge. It was the volunteer lounge in 08 if i'm not mistaken.

It's where you put your bag/whatever if you don't really want to walk around with it anymore, to keep it safe c:

I thought bag check meant we HAD to check in our bags. Are we actually allowed to carry around a backpack? Cause I want to keep some of my stuff on me...

I know I'm suuuper late, but yeah, large backpacks and purses (that stuff can easily be put into) are not allowed in the artist's faire, vendor's room and gamer's lounge; that's why bag check is offered, so that you can safely store your larger bag(s)/purchases somewhere.

I liked the bagcheck's location this year. It seemed to be much more roomy than the last one. Also seemed to hold more stuff there too. What are the chances of having the bagcheck there again?

Fun fact : Ai-Kon takes up 169% more square footage in 2010 than our first year in the Winnipeg Convention Centre back in 2005.
